WE THE UNDERSIGNED petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to take immediate steps to strengthen impaired driving laws and introduce tougher penalties for impaired driving to save lives, prevent repeat offences and protect the public.

WE, the UNDERSIGNED, call upon the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to enact the following measures:

1. Re-commit to honouring and defending the Canada Health Act,
2. Guarantee that healthcare in Ontario will not be privatized,
3. Ensure that in every case, healthcare system decisions are patient-centred and not profit-centred
4. Commit to solve the challenges in our healthcare system through public and not-for-profit initiatives.

We call on the Premier and the Government of Ontario to Cut the HST from Home Heating.

To pass legislation requiring all candidates seeking election to municipal office to submit a criminal background check as part of their nomination package; and to introduce eligibility criteria prohibiting individuals recently convicted of serious criminal offences from running for municipal office for a fixed, clearly defined period of time.
