Ontario Reinstating License Renewals

In March 2020, the Ontario government temporarily extended the validity of expired:

  • Driver's license's
  • Photo cards
  • Health cards
  • Licence plate stickers

However, the Ontario government has announced that Ontarians with expired license's or cards will need to get them renewed by February 28th, 2022.

NOTE:

  • Heavy commercial vehicle owners will need to renew their vehicle validations by December 31, 2021.
  • Novice licence holders (class G1, G2, M1 or M2) will have until December 31, 2022, to requalify for or upgrade their novice driver’s licence.
