Blais goes back to school

Councillor Stephen Blais recently read to a Grade 4 Class at St. Theresa Catholic Elementary School.

“As a father, I fully understand why literacy and numeracy are important building blocks for children,” says Blais. “As the former Catholic School Board Trustee for Orléans-Cumberland, I am always willing to participate in such a valuable initiative as Ontario Education Week."

St. Theresa has continued its tradition of inviting community leaders to take part in Ontario Education Week by reading aloud to elementary students.

"Solid education including literacy and numeracy will help ensure our economy will have the skilled workers that we need in the future, added Blais.”
